I will post, on Fridays, selected leadership quotes. I’ll try to maintain a theme in a given week’s quotes, but if something in particular strikes me that week, it will probably go in anyway!

On patience…

What we obtain too cheaply, we esteem too lightly; it’s dearness only that gives everything its value.
~Thomas Payne

He that can have patience can have what he will.
~Benjamin Franklin

Patience is power. Patience is not an absence of action; rather it is “timing” it waits on the right time to act, for the right principles and in the right way.
~Fulton J. Sheen

And we know that in all things God works for the good…
~Paul of Tarsus

Our real blessings often appear to us in the shape of pains, losses and disappointments; but let us have patience and we soon shall see them in their proper figures.
~Joseph Addison

Take care, and enjoy life,
