I have begun a series in which I will post, on Fridays, selected leadership quotes. I’ll try to maintain a theme in a given week’s quotes, but if something in particular strikes me that week, it will probably go in anyway!

In search of inspiration,

If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up people together to collect wood and don’t assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.
~Antoine de Saint-Exupery

A great leader’s courage to fulfill his vision comes from passion, not position.
~John C. Maxwell

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.
~John Quincy Adams

The task of the leader is to get his people from where they are to where they have not been.
~Henry Kissinger

Where there is no vision, the people perish.
~Proverbs 29:18

Take care, and enjoy life,
