I have begun a series in which I will post, on Fridays, selected leadership quotes. I’ll try to maintain a theme in a given week’s quotes, but if something in particular strikes me that week, it will probably go in anyway!

In search of excellence,

Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected.
~Steve Jobs

Don’t be afraid to give up the good to go for the great.
~John D. Rockefeller

Good management is the art of making problems so interesting and their solutions so constructive that everyone wants to get to work and deal with them.
~Paul Hawken

High expectations are the key to everything.
~Sam Walton

Hoping and Wishing are wonderful beginnings. We must quickly move to planning and acting, followed by monitoring and mentoring, culminating in redirecting and rewarding.
~Mark Wargo

Take care, and enjoy life,

Andrew
